Description

She sat there, looking past whatever she was staring at, with her thoughts wondering through the cosmos. In her eyes was deep confusion, and a curiosity that kept her thoughts aflame. "There couldn't be" she thought to herself "could there?"
Her debate about a living, breathing God has baffled her recently. With all the bad things happening in the world, wouldn't you think that he could stop that?

She needed to get out. This was getting too much. She grabbed her keys, slipped on some sandles, and walked out to her car. The engine sparked to life as she turned the keys in the ignition, and before she knew it, she was out of the driveway and on the road. She drove, not knowing where she was going; she just, went. Her eyes were glued to the road, but her thoughts still dwindled. Questions raced everwhere, clouding her train of thought. "Why would he take away my parents?" she asked over and over again. The skies had darkened, and before she knew it, rain came pouring down. She flipped on her windshield wipers as she turned left. She reached a hill where she would often go to write, think, and escape from the world. As she pulled over the car, the rain started to let up. Almost as soon as she put it in park, the rain stopped. She opened the door, stepped out and leaned against her car. She stared out into the distance, for the sun was begginning to pierce through. Her thoughts were still racing. "God, if you're real, please, give me a sign...something. Anything." She waited, and nothing appeared to her as a sign. Her eyes were downcasted, with tears welling up from the confusion and frustration that has built up. Her knees trembled, as she slid down the side of her car with her face burried in her hands. Sobs began to well up from within her. Her frustration and her confusion was pouring out of her eyes. Everything seemed hopeless.

As she lifted her head up to wipe her eyes, she saw something she would never forget. Not two minutes ago was the sky darkened with thunderclouds. Yes, there was a peek of sun, but nothing like this. It was as if God was right there, before her eyes. The sun shone through the clouds, radiating everything in sight. She wiped her eyes again in disbelief. She felt something, something that she hasn't felt in a long time. A small voice inside of her seemed to say, "Daughter, I'm here. And I will be here, until the very end."

:cries: that was so touching Ebudae....it reminds me of times when ive had my doubts on if something was of God or not, it it was His will, and when id about given up hope on it, He would show me something so miraculous. Very lovely picture and description....it was so....spiritually moving...
